Review market research, explore future product needs, and set the roadmap to achieve your business goals.
1. Define the Product: Identify functionality and features by exploring options, drafting a rough project outline, planning, and prioritizing tasks.
2. Preliminary Product Design: Review component requirements and product specifications, analyze features and feasibility, and assess costs to determine profitability potential.
3. System Block Diagram: Prepare a visual representation of the product design. Create a BOM, cost, and supplier listing to estimate prototype and production costs, including components, PCB assembly, testing, packaging, etc., based on project requirements.
4. Proof of Concept: Create a breadboard prototype to validate the concept's viability.
This is done in two steps and varies based on your needs to ensure the product survives in the field. If a 3D model is provided, we consider the shape of the PCB and the placement of components accordingly.
1. Schematic Circuit Diagram: Using the reference block diagram, we place components and connect pins properly. The experience of our Electronic Engineers plays a big role in designing this diagram. Proper consideration of EMC, thermal, and field environment is essential for the successful survival of the final product. Each failure or accident in the market results from not considering and designing safety features at any stage.
2. PCB Layout: This involves the physical placement of components and wire connecting pins on the board. Again, the experience of the Layout Engineer is crucial to comply with the latest standards, thermal dispersal, power trace routing, consideration for crystal clocks, high-speed signals, and wireless circuits, etc.
Order Prototype PCBs: This is when we conduct our first real functional test of our concept. At this stage, we review any bugs or errors and implement any fixes, testing along the way.
1. Microcontroller Program: We develop the microcontroller program to fix any bugs and test the functionality. It may go through several iterations of debugging, testing, and evaluating the results to achieve the desired functionality.
2. Vendor Communication: We communicate with our vendors to ensure parts will be available for the next 5 years, explore possibilities for future upgrades, and consider any cost-saving ideas that we can incorporate into our design at this stage.
After testing and validating the PCBs, we create the final concept product for production approval. At this stage, we assemble the final product in a 3D mold and conduct various tests agreed upon during the concept phase.
1. Certification: Certification of testing requirements is accomplished at this stage.
2. Evaluation: Pilot runs are also evaluated by end-users to provide feedback, improving potential risks and challenges.
We provide production files, tools, designs, and more. We work continuously during the initial stages of production to assist and resolve any issues. This is our commitment.
